The Nike Victory 2 is the result of rigorous testing — in the NSRL and out — and an unprecedented amount of athlete feedback. It still offers all the energy-returning benefits that come from combining Air Zoom and ZoomX foam technology with a full-length carbon plate, but it’s been refined from top to bottom — with a flatter, wider base of support system, a more responsive (and durable) plate material, two fewer spikes, and a new foot-containing Atomknit upper to improve stability, comfort and control for runners on the track, especially when going around the turns. This is primed to be a winning combination; Nike athletes clinched five world records in Victory 2 prototypes during its development cycle, before its design was even finalized.
